The J bar B Cattle Company now has a homozygous bull for a herd sire. We feel that this is the path
we want to take in our quest to be able to offer homozygous black hereford bulls to the commercial
breeder. Testing our bulls for this desirable trait will become part of our future operational standards
whenever the correct parameters are in place to warrant this procedure.
Being able to guarantee 100% black hided offsprings is one of our goals and can only mean more
money for the commercial breeders at the sale barn.
